WEST BANK – On Monday, President of the
Resistance Wall and Settlement Commission, Muayyad Shaban, said that the
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and settlers committed 12,161 attacks against
Palestinian civilians, their lands, properties, and sanctities in various parts
of the
West Bank and the occupied city of Jerusalem last year, Al-Ghad
reported.

He explained that the IOF carried out 9,751
attacks, while settlers carried out 2,410 attacks, and both sides carried out
206 joint attacks. Shaban confirmed that this is a record high in the number of
attacks recorded in one year.
He added that the number of attacks in
Nablus Governorate was 842, followed by Ramallah Governorate with 419 attacks, then
Al-Khalil Governorate with 376 attacks, then Bethlehem Governorate with 204
attacks, Salfit with 165 attacks, and Tubas with 137 attacks.
