According to a report by Axios, citing Israeli and U.S. officials, Israel is expected to raise its security alert status to the highest level over the weekend in anticipation of a possible decision by U.S. President Donald Trump to resume military operations.اضافة اعلان

The report said that the ongoing U.S. blockade is increasing pressure on Iran and could potentially force Tehran to concede without direct military action.

Officials cited by the report said one option under consideration by Trump following his return from China is the resumption of “Operation Freedom” in the Strait of Hormuz.

Another option reportedly being considered is a new bombing campaign focused on Iran’s infrastructure.
