The Spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaeil Baghaei, stated on Wednesday: "We entered negotiations to end the war, ensure Iran's rights, and obtain war reparations."

Baghaei added: "The exchange of messages with the United States has been ongoing since the return of the delegations from Islamabad."
He continued: "We do not confirm any details reported by Western media regarding the negotiations."
Baghaei further noted: "We may receive a delegation today from Pakistan, which is familiarizing itself with the positions of both parties."
Regarding the regional situation, he explained that "the American-Zionist war against us is the sole reason for the disruption of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz."
He also reaffirmed that Iran remains "alongside the Resistance in Lebanon, and ending the war there is an element of the ceasefire agreement."
Finally, Baghaei emphasized: "We can negotiate on the level of uranium enrichment, but we will not forgo our right to enrichment."
