Iran vowed on Wednesday to launch strikes against U.S. and Israeli economic targets in the region, including banks, following overnight strikes that reportedly hit an Iranian bank.

A statement from the Central Military Operations Room, broadcast by state television, said: "The enemy has given us a free hand in targeting economic centers and banks affiliated with the United States and the regime (...)."
The statement urged residents in the region to avoid being within one kilometer of these facilities.
Iranian media reported that U.S. and Israeli strikes hit a bank in Tehran overnight, resulting in the death of an unspecified number of employees.
Israel and the United States have been conducting airstrikes on Iran since Saturday, February 28, which led to the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Since then, Tehran has responded by striking Israel and regional countries with missiles and drones.
