Five Palestinians were martyred and others injured early Monday in Israeli airstrikes targeting several areas across the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.

Medical sources at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported that a child was martyred and others injured in an Israeli strike targeting a school sheltering displaced people in central Gaza.
Medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital also reported that four Palestinians were martyred and others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Al-Rimal neighborhood in western Gaza City.
On Sunday, a Palestinian man and his daughter were martyred in an Israeli strike targeting a vehicle in the Al-Nasr neighborhood of Gaza City.
On Saturday, Gaza residents held funeral processions for the remains of around 100 martyrs, including 60 children, whose remains were recovered from beneath the rubble of destroyed homes in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, nearly three years after they were martyred.
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) accuses Israel of violating the ceasefire and undermining efforts to implement US President Donald Trump’s plan to end the war, which includes an Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and the disarmament of the movement.
Officials at Gaza’s Health Ministry said more than 1,300 Palestinians, most of them civilians, have been martyred since the ceasefire agreement took effect in October 2025.
According to the latest data from the Health Ministry in Gaza, Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement have left 1,344 Palestinians martyred and 4,464 others injured as of Saturday.
