Three Palestinians were martyred and others injured on Tuesday in Israeli strikes targeting areas west of Gaza City, amid a series of heavy air raids carried out by Israeli warplanes, according to an Al Mamlaka correspondent.

The correspondent reported that the three martyrs and several injured people were taken to Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
A source at Al-Shifa Hospital said the three martyrs were two children and a woman, while eight others were injured by fire from Israeli drones in the Al-Katiba area west of Gaza City.
Media outlets, citing witnesses, reported that at least 10 explosions were heard following Israeli drone strikes on Al-Katiba, coinciding with Israeli warplanes flying at low altitude over Gaza City.
Ismail Al-Thawabta, director-general of the Government Media Office in Gaza, said an Israeli special forces unit had attempted to carry out a security operation inside Gaza City, but its presence was discovered during the operation. He said this prompted the Israeli military to intervene with more than 10 warplanes, which launched intense and heavy airstrikes on the area.
The Israeli military, for its part, said it had attacked targets in the Gaza Strip to “remove threats to security forces,” confirming that none of its personnel were injured.
Israeli media reported an intense exchange of fire in Gaza after an Israeli special forces unit infiltrated the area around the American Hospital west of the city. No official details have been released regarding the nature of the incident.
