Jerusalem - Groups of settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported that dozens of settlers entered the mosque’s courtyards and performed provocative Talmudic rituals, including what is known as "Epic Prostration," near Bab al-Rahma and the Dome of the Rock.اضافة اعلان

The Governorate added that groups associated with the so-called "Temple Mount" movement have circulated inflammatory calls to mobilize settlers to storm Al-Aqsa and raise the occupation flag within its courtyards.

This coincided with ongoing restrictions by the occupation police, who have set up checkpoints and closed roads in the city of Jerusalem, while restricting the entry of Muslim worshippers to Al-Aqsa through ID seizures and searches.

Since the beginning of April, the frequency of these incursions has escalated, with settlers performing public rituals and "collective prostration" inside the mosque's grounds.

Furthermore, the extremist Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on April 12, where he performed Talmudic rituals accompanied by settlers. This marked his third incursion since the beginning of the year and his 16th since taking office.
