75,000 Perform Friday Prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Approximately 75,000 worshippers performed Friday prayers today at Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Haram Al-Sharif.

The Jerusalem Governorate stated that tens of thousands of people arrived at Al-Aqsa Mosque from the early morning hours, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).

Israeli forces prevented the mosque’s imam and preacher, Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque after he attempted to attend Friday prayers. They also obstructed worshippers from reaching the site, particularly near the Yusufiya Cemetery.
