The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force announced that air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed three missiles and a number of drones. It stated that these were launched by Iran as part of attacks targeting civilian objects in the Kingdom.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Bahraini General Command said that Iran continues its "systematic hostile approach" by targeting civilian objects with missiles and drones, confirming that its forces handled the attacks with "high combat readiness" and successfully thwarted them.
The General Command emphasized that all military branches and units are at the highest levels of readiness and defensive preparedness to protect the Kingdom.
It called upon citizens and residents to exercise caution and to avoid approaching or touching any strange or suspicious objects resulting from the debris of the attacks, and to report them immediately to the competent authorities.
The General Command stressed that targeting civilian objects and private property with missiles and drones constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
