8 Martyrs in Israeli Air Strikes Targeting Vehicles South of Beirut

According to the official National News Agency, two strikes targeted cars on the busy highway connecting the capital to the southern part of the country, while a third strike hit a vehicle on an adjacent road.

Israel has intensified its air strikes on Lebanon in recent days, stating that it is targeting the Iranian-backed Hezbollah, despite a ceasefire announcement in effect since April 17. — AFP
