31 Martyrs and 149 Wounded in Israeli Airstrikes on Lebanon

The Israeli army announced that it launched a wave of strikes against Hezbollah "throughout Lebanon" on Monday, following a rocket attack claimed by the group.

An army statement said that "in response to Hezbollah's firing of projectiles towards the State of Israel," Israeli forces began "striking targets belonging to the Hezbollah organization throughout Lebanon."

The Lebanese Hezbollah announced that it launched rockets and drones at Israel on Sunday night in retaliation for the assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. (Reuters)
