The Kingdom is expected to experience unstable weather conditions on Saturday. The weather will be slightly warm in most areas, with clouds appearing at various altitudes and scattered showers falling in some regions at intervals.
According to the Meteorological Department, cloud cover will increase during the evening and night hours, with rainfall occurring in various parts of the Kingdom. The rain may be heavy at times in some areas and accompanied by thunder and hail, leading to flash floods in valleys and low-lying regions, including the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be southeasterly, moderate to active, with strong gusts at times that may cause dust in many areas, especially in desert regions.
The Public Security Directorate, in light of the expected unstable weather conditions and possible heavy rainfall, urged the public to stay away from valleys and locations prone to flash floods, particularly in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom.
The Directorate also called for cautious driving, avoiding water gatherings, and refraining from crossing them on foot or by vehicle. It further stressed the importance of following safe practices when using heating devices, avoiding leaving them on while sleeping, and ensuring proper home ventilation.
The Directorate affirmed the importance of not hesitating to call the unified emergency number 911 when necessary.
