Jordan will experience relatively hot weather across most regions on Thursday, while conditions will be hot to very hot in the eastern desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
Moderate northwesterly winds are expected, becoming active at times.
Temperatures on Thursday will range between 35°C and 24°C in East Amman, 33°C and 22°C in West Amman, 30°C and 19°C in the northern highlands, 31°C and 18°C in the Sharah Highlands, 39°C and 23°C in the eastern desert, 34°C and 22°C across the plains, 41°C and 26°C in the northern Jordan Valley, 44°C and 28°C in the southern Jordan Valley, 43°C and 27°C at the Dead Sea, and 43°C and 27°C in the Gulf of Aqaba.
According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures will drop slightly on Friday, bringing typical summer conditions to most parts of the Kingdom, while hot weather will persist in the eastern desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Moderate northwesterly winds will continue, becoming active at times.
A further slight decrease in temperatures is expected on Saturday, bringing readings back to around their seasonal averages. Weather will remain seasonably warm across most regions, relatively hot in the eastern desert, and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with moderate northwesterly winds occasionally becoming active.
On Sunday, typical summer weather will prevail across most areas, while hot conditions will continue in the eastern desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Moderate northwesterly winds are expected, becoming active at times.
