The Meteorological Department warned in its report of possible frost formation during the early morning hours over the high mountain areas and parts of the Badia and plains. It also cautioned against reduced horizontal visibility at times due to dust, especially in eastern regions, and slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall.
On Thursday, the weather will remain relatively cold in most regions and mild in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with low-altitude clouds. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate.
On Friday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, bringing mild conditions to most areas and relatively warm weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. High-altitude clouds will appear, and winds will be southeasterly, shifting in the afternoon to northwesterly, moderate in speed and occasionally active.
On Saturday, temperatures will drop slightly, and relatively cold weather will prevail in most regions, while remaining mild in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Clouds will appear at various altitudes, with northwesterly moderate winds.
Today’s forecasted high and low temperatures in East Amman will range between 16°C and 5°C, and in West Amman between 14°C and 4°C. In the northern highlands, temperatures will range between 13°C and 3°C, and in the Sharah highlands between 11°C and 1°C. In the Badia regions, temperatures will range between 17°C and 4°C, and in the plains between 16°C and 5°C. In the northern Jordan Valley, temperatures will range between 22°C and 11°C, in the southern Jordan Valley between 24°C and 13°C, at the Dead Sea between 22°C and 12°C, and in the Gulf of Aqaba between 23°C and 11°C.
