According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, the weather will remain cold in most areas and pleasant in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with mid- and high-level clouds. Winds will be moderate southwesterlies.

Forecasts indicate that on Friday, the Kingdom will be affected by a cold and moist air mass associated with a low-pressure system centered north of Cyprus. Temperatures will drop noticeably, and the weather will be cold and partly cloudy, turning cloudy.

Rainfall is expected in the northern regions and parts of the central areas, later extending to most regions. By the afternoon hours, the cold front associated with the low-pressure system will pass, bringing intensified rainfall that may be heavy in the north, central regions, and southwestern areas, as well as the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Thunderstorms may occur at times, along with hail, leading to the formation of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas and a rise in water levels.

The Meteorological Department urges citizens to stay away from flood-prone valleys and waterways. Late at night, rainfall intensity will decrease. There is also a chance, during the late-night hours and early Saturday morning, for a brief period, of light and intermittent sleet mixed with rain on the high peaks of the Sharah Mountains. Fog is also expected to form in many areas, especially mountainous regions. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, active at times with strong gusts reaching speeds of 50–65 km/h.

The Meteorological Department has issued a high-level warning regarding the risk of flash flooding in valleys and low-lying areas, reduced horizontal visibility due to fog, low clouds, and heavy rainfall, as well as the risk posed by strong winds and gusts. There is also a possibility of reduced visibility in desert areas due to dust. Citizens are advised not to attempt crossing flood channels or areas where rainwater accumulates, to wear warm clothing, use heating appliances safely, pay attention to the elderly and children, beware of slippery roads, and secure loose objects.

On Saturday, the weather will remain cold and partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with continued chances of intermittent rain showers in parts of the western regions of the Kingdom. In the evening, the likelihood of rainfall will diminish, and winds will be moderate westerlies, becoming active at times, especially in desert areas.
