Weather experts at ArabiaWeather said that, God willing, the Kingdom will be affected starting from the late hours of Monday, 15/12/2025, by a new weather depression classified as second degree, followed by the influx of a very cold air mass. Temperatures are expected to drop to their coldest levels in months, falling below 5°C in several regions of the Kingdom by the end of the week, God willing.

Details of the Kingdom’s Impact by a Second-Degree Weather Depression (Normal in Terms of Rainfall) Starting Monday Evening, 15/12/2025
God willing, temperatures are expected to decline during the daytime hours of Monday, with generally cold weather and relatively stable conditions throughout most of the day. Clouds will appear at various altitudes, and winds will be southwesterly, light to moderate in speed.
During Monday night into Tuesday, the Kingdom will gradually be affected by a second-degree weather depression. Cloud cover will increase, and weather conditions will fluctuate between partly cloudy and cloudy. Opportunities will gradually become favorable for rainfall in several regions of the Kingdom. These showers may at times be heavy, especially in southern areas, and could be accompanied by thunderstorms, leading to runoff in valleys and streams and the formation of water accumulations in some locations. Low clouds touching the ground are expected to pass, resulting in fog formation and reduced horizontal visibility over high mountainous areas.
By Tuesday daytime, 16/12/2025, temperatures will decrease further, with maximum temperatures around 10°C in the mountainous regions, including the capital Amman, which is several degrees lower than the seasonal average. The weather will be cold and partly cloudy to cloudy, with rain showers falling in several regions of the Kingdom. Some of these showers may be heavy at times. Fog formation will continue over mountainous areas due to low clouds touching the ground. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate in speed, with active gusts that will significantly increase the feeling of cold.
During Tuesday night into Wednesday, cloud cover is expected to decrease, while the chance of rain showers will remain, especially over southern and eastern regions of the Kingdom.
Computer simulation outputs indicate an increased impact of very cold winds on Wednesday, 17/12/2025, resulting in noticeably cold conditions during the day and extremely cold weather at night, with continued atmospheric moisture. Conditions will be cold and partly cloudy, with chances of rain showers, particularly in southern and eastern areas. These showers may take the form of sleet or light snow showers over the peaks of the Sharah Mountains. Hail showers are also possible in some other areas.
