Jordanian national boxing team player Ziad Eshish advanced to the final of the 70kg category at the Nagoya 2026 Asian Games on Wednesday.
Eshish secured his place in the final after defeating Japan’s Seunoretsu Okazawa in the semifinals.

Eshish will face Kazakhstan’s Torikhan Saber Khan in the final on Friday.
He began his campaign at the Games with a victory over Palestine’s Mohammad Issa in the round of 16, before defeating Tajikistan’s Shamsher Saidov in the quarterfinals.
Jordan’s boxing team won a bronze medal on Tuesday through Hussein Eshish in the 80kg category.
This is Eshish’s second appearance at the Asian Games, following his participation in Hangzhou. He has also represented Jordan at two Olympic Games, most recently at Paris 2024.
