Al-Btaineh is intensifying his training in order to reach peak readiness before the squash competitions begin, scheduled from September 23 to October 2 at Nagoya Kenjo-Futo Hall.

National team coach Saad Al-Hijazi affirmed that the training program is proceeding according to plan, noting that Al-Btaineh is showing great commitment and enthusiasm for this important participation, which represents a valuable opportunity to gain experience — especially given that he is only 17 years old.

Al-Btaineh has delivered outstanding performances at the youth level in recent months, winning numerous titles and medals, further confirming his continuous development.

The squash competitions at the Nagoya Asian Games carry exceptional importance, as the gold medalist will secure a qualification spot for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, which will mark squash's first-ever appearance in Olympic history. — Petra
