Jordanian taekwondo continues to shine on the world stage, after rankings issued by the World Taekwondo Federation placed 6 Jordanian athletes among the world's top 10, a new achievement affirming Jordan's distinguished standing in the sport globally.

The rankings were as follows: Fadia Kharfan, ranked 1st in the world and 2nd Olympic; Jaafar Al-Dawoud, ranked 3rd in the world and 2nd Olympic; Razan Al-Rawashdeh, ranked 2nd in the world and 8th Olympic; Zaid Karim, ranked 2nd in the world; Zaid Halwani, ranked 7th in the world; and Mohammad Al-Adarbeh, ranked 8th in the world.
This strong showing in the international rankings reflects the advanced level Jordanian taekwondo has reached, along with the significant efforts made by the players and the technical and administrative staff, and continued ambition for further achievements in upcoming competitions.
