Scouts take virtual hike to ancient village in Irbid

AMMAN — The Northern Mazar Youth Center in Irbid Governorate on Monday organized a virtual walk to the ancient village of Samad during a workshop for young scouts.اضافة اعلان

Randa Azar, who led the virtual hike of 20 people, explained how to plan for it, the most important things to take into account when on hikes, and the appropriate clothing to walk in. The aim of the workshop was to train participants in basic outdoor skills and encourage their contribution to society in a positive way, by getting them used to working in a team and cooperating.

Azar also went over the history, goals, and importance of the scouts in Jordan in terms of refining individuals’ personalities to better serve local communities, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
