AMMAN—Cash was disbursed to 74,000 families by the
National Aid Fund on Tuesday. The families are among those benefiting the cash
support program Takaful 3.

This is the first group of the fourth batch of families to
receive
cash assistance. The second group of the fourth batch will receive cash
at the end of this month, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The acting director general of the fund and secretary general
of the Ministry of Social Development, Barq Al-Damour, told the Jordan News
Agency, Petra, that the fund sent text messages this morning to all of the families
that received cash support notifying them of the transfer.
The first batch of support was disbursed in February, and that
the Takaful 3 program will continue until the end of this year, Damour said,
adding that the total number of beneficiary families is estimated at 160,000.
