Hashemite fund holds women’s dialogue session

AMMAN — A branch of the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development in Sheikh Hussein on Monday held a dialogue session for members of the women's and youth committees at a center to discuss the most prominent needs of the women's sector in terms of economic programs and projects.اضافة اعلان

Member of the Parliamentary Agriculture and Water Committee, Ali Al-Ghazawi, stressed the importance of economic empowerment of rural women during his participation in the session.

The panelists also emphasized the necessity of facilitating funding opportunities for women's projects and helping them network with various official and civil bodies concerned with supporting women's economic empowerment.

The participants suggested several ideas for development, agricultural, and handicraft projects, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. 

The Director of the Hashemite Fund branch, Fafea Al-Awamra, reviewed the fund's role in rehabilitating and training women through a project called "Enhancing Women's Personal and Professional Skills," which has helped about 185 women.
