Good turnout for vaccinations

AMMAN — Health centers dedicated to offering COVID-19 vaccinations in Maan witnessed “good” turnout by residents, head of the Maan Health Affairs Directorate, Amjad Abu Darwish said on Wednesday. Speaking to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Abu Darwish called on citizens to register on the national vaccination platform to receive the injection. He also said that vaccines are safe and accredited by the Health Ministry, noting that medical teams follow up on those who get inoculated and provide them with necessary health instructions. The director also said that inspection teams affiliated with the directorate conduct field trips to check on food facilities’ commitment to public health protocols and issue warnings to violators to rectify their status.
