Mr. Hani Habibah expressed his deep appreciation for the kind visit, affirming that it is a great honor for the company and its staff. He emphasized that the visit serves as a strong motivation to continue the path of hard work and dedication, noting that the support of the Hashemite leadership is a constant driver for the advancement of the food industries sector in Jordan and for strengthening its role in supporting the national economy and meeting consumer expectations with high quality and advanced standards.
He added that the company has recently embarked on an important transformative phase in its manufacturing operations, explaining that production is now carried out at the company’s factory in Al-Qastal, whereas it was previously based at the Habibah Sweets Complex on Medina Street. He noted that this shift is part of a broader development strategy aimed at enhancing quality and increasing production capacity.
Mr. Habibah described the royal visit as an added responsibility that inspires and motivates the company to preserve this Jordanian legacy in the sweets industry, to continue its journey of excellence, and to maintain the highest standards of quality befitting the reputation of national products.
The company employs more than 500 workers, 90% of whom are Jordanians, supplying the local market with a wide variety of sweets, while its exports reach more than 20 countries, according to Habibah.
During his visit, His Majesty toured various sections of the factory—one of the largest sweets factories in the Middle East—which currently distributes its products through four branches in Jordan and three additional branches in Saudi Arabia. His Majesty reviewed the production lines and listened to a briefing by the company’s CEO, Mr. Mundher Habibah, about the company’s expansion plans. The company has been operating for 75 years.
His Majesty was received during the visit by Mr. Hani Habibah and his sons (from right to left): Mahdi Habibah, Muhannad Habibah, Mahmoud Habibah, and Mundher Habibah, who welcomed His Majesty and briefed him on the stages of production and development within the factory.
It is noteworthy that Haj Mahmoud Habibah & Sons “Original” owns these branches inside and outside Jordan and has no connection to any shops or branches that imitate its name, affirming that it guarantees the best quality and service and never compromises quality for profit:
