Biolab wins golden trophy in quality competition at 6th HCAC Conference in Jordan

AMMAN — Biolab, the Kingdom’s leading diagnostic laboratory, has won the Golden Trophy at the 6th Quality Healthcare Conference and Exhibition entitled “Quality and Safety in the Wake of the Pandemic - Ready for the New Norm”. The Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) quality competition intends to encourage accredited organizations to develop and execute innovative programs to improve the quality of health services in Jordan and adapt to the permanent change caused by the COVID-19 crisis.اضافة اعلان
Along with Biolab, accredited hospitals in Al-Hussein Medical City and Al-Rabba Comprehensive Health Care Center/Karak received the Golden Trophy in the hospitals and health centers categories, respectively. Prince Hamzah Hospital, Sakhrah Medical Centre/Ajloun, and MedLabs Laboratories received the Silver Trophy, while the Bronze Trophy was awarded to Khirbet Al-Souq Healthcare Centre, Unilabs Laboratories, the Specialty Hospital, and Jordan University Hospital equally.
“Biolab is honored to win the Golden Trophy award for HR and Customer Service by the HCAC.” said Amid Abdelnour, founder and CEO of Biolab. He added, “Biolab is always proud of these achievements and is keen on continuing to build on the high standards that we represent in the healthcare sector. We’re grateful to represent several of those who have applied for this award and achieved great results. Hopefully many more to come.”
For her part, Thaira Madi, director of accreditation at HCAC, said that the ideas presented this year were ground-breaking, and that Biolab has set the standard for innovation by developing eminent programs to support the health and safety of its employees, while Al-Hussein Medical City presented an innovative project to serve patients remotely, and Al-Rabba Comprehensive Health Care Center provided its services for those with chronic diseases.
