AmCham celebrates Jordan-US free trade agreement

AMMAN — The American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan (AmCham) on Tuesday celebrated the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Jordanian-US Free Trade Agreement, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. At the same time, the presidency of the AmCham MENA region has been handed over to the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt. AmCham Chairman Mohammed Bataineh expressed appreciation for all members and partners supporting the chamber through their contribution to developing projects, generating job opportunities, and boosting the Jordanian economy. He delivered a briefing on the chamber’s achievements during the past year in promoting commercial, industrial and investment opportunities, holding training sessions, taking part in public-private partnership events and supporting businesses to recover after the pandemic.
