The government has completed 16 projects under the Executive Program of the Economic Modernization Vision (2026–2029) by the end of the first half of this year, out of a total of 394 projects, representing 4.1% of all projects included in the program.
According to progress-tracking data, 343 projects are currently under implementation, accounting for the largest share of the program at 87.1%, while 30 projects have not yet started, representing 7.6%.
The data also showed that five projects are behind schedule, accounting for approximately 1.2% of the total number of projects.
Under the “Jordan: A Global Destination” driver, the government has completed one priority and is currently implementing 26 priorities, while work has yet to begin on one priority. Under the Investment driver, three priorities have been completed, 10 are under implementation, and one has not yet started.
Under the Future Services driver, the government has completed seven priorities and is currently implementing 105 priorities, while work has yet to begin on 13 priorities. Under the Entrepreneurship and Innovation driver, 49 priorities are currently under implementation, while five have not yet started. Meanwhile, 64 priorities are under implementation under the High-Value Industries driver, with five yet to begin.
The government has completed four priorities under the Quality of Life driver, while 67 others are under implementation and four have not yet started. Under the Sustainable Resources driver, the government is implementing 35 priorities, has completed one, and has yet to begin work on two.
Under the Sustainable Environment driver, 31 priorities are currently under implementation, while work has yet to begin on three priorities.
In the 2026 General Budget Law draft, the government allocated approximately JD396 million to implement programs under the Economic Modernization Vision, whose implementation plans have continued since the vision was launched at the end of 2022.
