Major US stock indexes fell on Friday. Meanwhile, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil maintained its high price, reaching $65.77 per barrel.

Ahead of the market close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped more than 220 points, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq fell by nearly 260 points.
