Turkish Foreign Minister Accuses Israel of Seeking to "Occupy More Territory"

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan accused Israel on Saturday of exploiting the war in the Middle East as a pretext to "occupy more territory."

Speaking at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in southern Turkey, Fidan stated: "Israel is not merely seeking to ensure its security; it wants more land. Benjamin Netanyahu’s government is using security as a pretext to occupy more territory."
