Jordan’s bill for crude oil, its derivatives, and mineral oils dropped by 4.9% by the end of February 2025.
According to foreign trade data released by the Department of Statistics and reported by the Jordan News Agency (Petra), the total value of the Kingdom’s imports of crude oil, its derivatives, and mineral oils reached 485 million dinars by the end of February this year, compared to 510 million dinars during the same period last year.

Fuel and mineral oils accounted for the largest share of Jordan’s petroleum product imports during this period, amounting to 184 million dinars, followed by crude oil at 144 million dinars. Jordan’s imports of gasoline totaled approximately 72 million dinars, diesel around 76 million dinars, lubricating oils 6 million dinars, and kerosene about 3 million dinars.
