The representative of the Communications and Information Technology sector at the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Eng. Haitham Al-Rawajbeh, affirmed that Jordan’s participation in GITEX Global 2025, which concluded on Friday evening in Dubai, represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen the presence of Jordanian companies in this sector on the international stage.

In a statement on Saturday, Al-Rawajbeh said that participating in this global event provides Jordanian companies with a real opportunity to exchange expertise, build strategic partnerships, and expand cooperation with major international companies, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the Kingdom’s technology sector.
He added that the exhibition, which hosted 6,800 technology companies and 2,000 startups from 180 countries, offered an ideal platform for Jordanian companies to showcase their latest digital solutions and artificial intelligence technologies, and to learn about the best global practices that accelerate digital transformation.
Al-Rawajbeh explained that Jordan has become one of the leading countries in the Middle East in the field of communications and technology. The sector has witnessed tangible progress in digital infrastructure and an expansion of companies specializing in software and AI solutions, reflecting the ability of Jordanian companies to compete regionally and internationally.
He emphasized that small and medium-sized Jordanian companies form the backbone of this thriving sector, having developed innovative products and services that meet global market needs, contribute to job creation, and build national capacities in technology and digital transformation, making Jordan a successful model in innovation and entrepreneurship.
He pointed out that participation in GITEX Global 2025 represents an important step toward enhancing Jordan’s role on the global innovation map, encouraging national companies to engage with regional and international markets, and actively contribute to shaping a sustainable and promising digital future.
It is worth noting that the 45th edition of GITEX Global focused on solutions for developing AI infrastructure, accelerating global innovation, and promoting international dialogue on policies and legislation supporting responsible development in the growing AI economy.
