Jordan Ahli Bank Sponsors Sixth Edition of Children’s Museum Reading Competition
As part of its corporate social responsibility efforts and longstanding commitment to supporting education and empowering future generations, Jordan Ahli Bank sponsored the sixth edition of the Reading Competition organized by the Children’s Museum. The initiative aims to encourage young individuals to develop a love of reading while strengthening their cognitive and language skills.اضافة اعلان
A total of 63 children participated, including the children of Jordan Ahli Bank employees and families of Museum members. Together, they read and summarized 372 books, totaling more than 23,000 pages. The books spanned a wide range of subjects, including history, religion, astronomy and geography, as well as literary works such as stories and novels, reflecting the participants’ curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
The competition concluded with an awards ceremony attended by Jordan Ahli Bank representatives, who joined the organizers in honoring the winners across the competition’s three categories, which comprised students from Grades 2 to 7. Salma Ziad, Jouri Wreikat, and Leen Zakarneh secured first place in their respective categories, while second- and third-place winners across all categories were also recognized. In addition, a special award for “Best Interviewee” was presented in acknowledgement of one participant’s exceptional performance during the final interview stage.
Commenting on the initiative, CEO/General Manager of Jordan Ahli Bank, Dr. Ahmad Al-Hussein, stated, “Supporting a culture of reading and knowledge among our children is a true investment in the future of our nation.
