JD 102.90 per gram: Price of 21-karat gold in the local market on Monday

Gold prices in the local market recorded a new all-time high on Monday, according to the General Syndicate of Owners of Jewelry and Goldsmith Shops.

According to the daily pricing bulletin, the selling price of one gram of 21-karat gold—the most in demand among citizens in the local market—reached JD 102.90 at jewelry shops, while the buying price stood at JD 98.50.

The selling prices per gram at jewelry shops for 24-, 18-, and 14-karat gold were JD 117.50, JD 91.40, and JD 71.40, respectively.
