Domestic revenues increased by approximately 34.1 million JOD by the end of last March, or by 1.6%, to reach 2,194.2 million JOD, compared to 2,160.1 million JOD for the same period in 2025, despite the prevailing conditions in the region.اضافة اعلان

According to the Ministry of Finance, the increase in domestic revenues was primarily driven by a rise in non-tax revenues by about 53.5 million JOD during the first quarter of 2026, reaching a value of 631.8 million JOD compared to 578.4 million JOD in the corresponding period of 2025.

The value of foreign grants received by the Kingdom in the first quarter of the current year amounted to approximately 20.4 million JOD, compared to 3.4 million JOD for the same period last year. Consequently, public revenues (including grants) recorded about 2,214.6 million JOD, compared to 2,163.5 million JOD for the same period in 2025.

On the front of government expenditure, total spending by the end of March 2026 reached approximately 2,936.9 million JOD, broken down into 2,721.7 million JOD for current expenditure and 215.2 million JOD for capital expenditure.

Notably, capital expenditure rose by about 50.8 million JOD, or 30.9%, compared to the same period in 2025, reflecting the continuous spending on capital projects aimed at accelerating economic activity and improving public services provided to citizens.
