Sales of petroleum derivatives increased by 2% during the third quarter of this year compared to the same period last year, reaching approximately 2.633 billion liters, according to data from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

The data showed a 2.6% decline in sales of Octane 90 gasoline, the most demanded fuel locally, in Q3 compared to the previous year, reaching around 1.159 billion liters.
Meanwhile, sales of Octane 95 gasoline recorded the largest increase, rising by 7.6% in Q3 to approximately 121 million liters.
Diesel sales also rose by 5.9% during the same period, exceeding 1.353 billion liters.
