Cabinet offers Tafileh Industrial City investment benefits

AMMAN — The Cabinet decided, based on the recommendations of the Economic Development Committee, to grant a package of investment benefits to the Tafileh Industrial City, according to Al-Ghad News.اضافة اعلان

The package includes a 10-year reduction in electricity prices for industrial investments for new projects and a 50-percent discount on container handling for goods manufactured in the city.

The discount on electricity starts at 75 percent for the first five years, dropping to 50 percent for the sixth to eighth year and to 25 percent in the ninth and 10th year, according to the Jordan Industrial Estate Corporation, who added that it  is the highest discount Jordan’s industrial sector has seen.
