Asian Stock Markets Show Mixed Performance

Asian stock indices closed with mixed results on Friday, marking the end of the week’s trading as investors analyzed new economic data.

In South Korea, the KOSPI index fell 1.51% to 3,926.59 points, while the KOSDAQ for small-cap stocks jumped 3.71% to 912.67 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 slipped slightly, closing at 8,614.1 points.

In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index declined 0.34% to 25,858.89 points, whereas China’s CSI 300 rose 0.25% to 4,526.67 points.

In India, the Nifty 50 remained largely unchanged, while the Sensex increased by 0.1%.
