Al-Bakar: We Aim to Raise Female Workforce Participation to 30%

Minister of Labor Khaled Al-Bakar emphasized that the ministry aims to increase the percentage of female contribution to the productive process to 30 percent over the coming years.اضافة اعلان

Al-Bakar added that this objective comes following data showing that the current rate stands at 15 percent. He pointed out that the ministry will work in the future to raise this percentage to enhance women's capacity for work and achievement, and to strengthen their role in comprehensive and sustainable development.

He explained that the ministry, in cooperation with relevant stakeholders, is working on establishing production branches in governorates and rural areas, noting that two new production branches will be opened in the Hoosha and Rihab municipalities within the Mafraq Governorate.
