During a media briefing titled “The National E-Invoicing System and Tax Reforms”, Abu Ali stated that:

The reforms aim to improve the efficiency and fairness of the tax system.

65 tax services are now available electronically, streamlining taxpayer interactions.

The department is leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance tax auditing, with 85% of tax returns being electronically reviewed.

Abu Ali reaffirmed that these reforms are meant to facilitate compliance, reduce evasion, and ensure a transparent and just tax environment, while maintaining stability in tax policy by not introducing new burdens on citizens or businesses.
