Washington Raises Travel Advisory to Level 3 for Jordan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE
The U.S. Department of State on Wednesday raised the travel advisory level to Level 3 (Reconsider Travel) for Jordan, the Sultanate of Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.اضافة اعلان

In an official statement, the Department noted that Egypt remains at Level 2 (Exercise Increased Caution). Meanwhile, the U.S. has authorized the departure of non-emergency government employees and their family members from Saudi Arabia due to heightened security risks. Similar authorization for departure was granted to non-emergency personnel in the Sultanate of Oman.

On Monday, the State Department had urged U.S. citizens to leave 12 Middle Eastern countries immediately, following joint U.S. and Israeli strikes against Iran.

At the time, Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs, Mora Namdar, stated that the Department urged Americans to depart from Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, the West Bank and Gaza, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the UAE, and Yemen.
