In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump wrote: “The agreement is scheduled to be signed tomorrow, and immediately after signing, the Strait of Hormuz will be opened to everyone.”

He added that the United States would move to dispose of Iran’s enriched uranium once tensions in the region subside.

“At the appropriate time, when the situation calms down, we will go in and remove the nuclear dust buried deep beneath granite mountains thanks to our beautiful B-2 bombers and their highly skilled pilots. We will dilute it and destroy it, whether in Iran or in the United States,” Trump said.

Throughout previous stages of negotiations, Trump repeatedly maintained that Iran’s enriched uranium must be removed from the country, stating that Washington would take possession of it and destroy it. Iran, however, has consistently rejected transferring its enriched uranium abroad.

Trump’s post also included a warning to the Islamic Republic, urging it to move forward with implementing the potential agreement or face serious consequences.

“We hope the process moves forward quickly, easily, and smoothly. If it does not, we have the perfect alternative, and we hope we will not have to use it again,” he said.

Earlier on Saturday, Iran’s Foreign Ministry indicated that the agreement would not be signed on Sunday, according to statements carried by official Iranian media outlets.
