Iran Says the Situation in Lebanon is the "Main Subject" in Talks with the United States

Iran confirmed, through its Foreign Ministry spokesperson, that the situation in Lebanon—where a confrontation is taking place between Israel and Hezbollah—will be the "main subject" of talks with the United States taking place in Switzerland this Sunday. "The Zionist regime continues to violate its commitment in Lebanon; this matter will be the main subject in today's talks," spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated, according to a video clip distributed by the IRNA news agency.

He added, "Also on the agenda is the issue of providing Iran's frozen or restricted assets, in addition to discussions related to issuing the necessary licenses for the sale of Iranian oil."
