International Criminal Court Denies Issuing New Arrest Warrants Against Israeli Officials

The International Criminal Court (ICC) on Sunday denied the accuracy of a report published by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz claiming that the court had issued new arrest warrants against five Israeli political and military officials on charges of crimes committed against Palestinians.

ICC spokesperson Fadi El Abdallah said in a statement to journalists that the report was inaccurate, adding that “the Court denies issuing new arrest warrants in the current situation in the State of Palestine.”
