Axios: Vance to Travel to Pakistan Today for Iran Talks

The news website Axios, citing U.S. sources, reported that U.S. Vice President J. D. Vance will travel to Pakistan on Tuesday for talks related to Iran.

A senior Pakistani government official said on Monday that Islamabad is confident in its ability to persuade Iran to attend talks with the United States.

The source, who requested anonymity, added: “We have received a positive signal from Iran. Things remain uncertain, but we are working hard to ensure their participation when the talks begin tomorrow or the day after.”

The official also noted that Pakistan is actively engaging with both Tehran and Washington as the ceasefire deadline set by U.S. President Donald Trump approaches.
