Wadi Araba road closed due to low visibility

AMMAN — According to the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, Wadi Araba road was closed in both directions in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate. اضافة اعلان

The statement was issued as a precautionary measure due to low visibility caused by dust.

The ministry has deployed more vehicles in most exposed areas to the current weather conditions, the statement said, adding that the ministry has dealt with a quicksand in Wadi Araba and other southern areas.

The ministry urged motorists using highways, namely the Desert Highway, to exercise caution while driving due to low visibility.

Earlier, the ministry announced the activation of its central operations room to handle the current khamasini dusty depression.
