Two men who assaulted doctor, shot up clinic in Southern Badia region arrested

AMMAN — Two men who assaulted a doctor in a clinic in the Southern Badia region on Saturday have turned themselves in to police, the Public Security Department (PSD) said in a statement on Sunday, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The PSD said that a doctor at a health care center in the Southern Badia region lodged a complaint saying he was attacked by two men while on duty, and that one of them fired shots inside the clinic but without injuring anyone. After an immediate investigation, police identified the suspects and launched a manhunt to apprehend them before they turned themselves in and the weapon they used in the incident, the PSD added. An investigation into the incident is still underway.
