Thousands attend Irbid’s Ramadan festival

Amman — Thousands of people attended the Ramadan night festival in Irbid, according to Al-Rai daily.اضافة اعلان

Irbid Governor Radwan Al-Atoum and a number of other officials attended the festival, which was held at Al-Hassan Sports City.

The celebrations included performances for children held by the Katakit troupe, verses by the poet Ahmad Tannas Al-Shantawi, folkloric performances by the Rahub heritage group, and religious songs. The Jordanian Armed Forces Band also performed.

Cultural competitions were also held, with prizes for the winners.
