Shops in Ras Al-Ain, Wehdat shut doors, join fuel strike

AMMAN — Owners of shops in Ras Al-Ain and Wehdat in Amman announced a strike on Sunday to demand a reduction of fuel prices, according to Jo24.

Merchants said that they were striking in solidarity with public transport and truck drivers, to bolster their demand for a decrease in fuel prices and fuel taxes.
