A Royal Decree was issued on Tuesday, approving a reshuffle in the government of Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan. The text of the decree reads as follows:

"We, Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, pursuant to Article 35 of the Constitution, and upon the recommendation of the Prime Minister, do hereby order the following:
His Excellency Dr. Nidal Mardi Abdullah Al-Katamine is appointed as Minister of Transport and Minister of Labor.
Issued from our Al-Raghadan Palace on this 29th day of Muharram, 1448 Hijri, corresponding to the 14th day of July, 2026 AD."
The newly appointed minister took the constitutional oath before His Majesty the King.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan and Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi.
A Royal Decree was also issued, accepting the resignation of His Excellency Mr. Khaled Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Bakar, Minister of Labor, from his post, effective July 14, 2026.
