The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has issued a warning regarding the expected state of atmospheric instability starting Wednesday evening. According to weather forecasts from relevant authorities, the conditions are likely to bring scattered rain showers, which may be heavy at times for short durations in limited parts of the western Kingdom, accompanied by thunder and hail.

The Directorate urged citizens to exercise the utmost caution and to stay away from valley streams, flood-prone areas, and low-lying regions, particularly the Dead Sea area. It emphasized the importance of not risking the crossing of water bodies, whether on foot or by vehicle.
Furthermore, the PSD stressed the necessity of driving carefully on roads experiencing rainfall, noting the potential for reduced horizontal visibility due to fog formation over mountain highlands and dust in Badia regions.
Regarding domestic safety, the Directorate highlighted the importance of the safe use of various heating methods. It warned against refueling heaters while they are lit, leaving them unattended, or leaving them on while sleeping. It also advised ensuring proper ventilation inside homes and avoiding wood-burning stoves due to the risk of suffocation.
The Directorate reaffirmed the readiness of its personnel and equipment to handle various weather conditions and emergency incidents, calling on citizens to dial the unified emergency number (911) if needed.
